Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with hands-on experience in using Docker and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through thorough testing and automation.

Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and Execution:Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web applications.Automation :Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright.Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, or Bash (or any shell).Containerization:Create, manage, and deploy Docker containers for testing environments.Collaborate with DevOps to ensure seamless integration of Docker in CI/CD processes.Orchestration :Use Kubernetes to deploy, manage, and scale applications in testing environments.Ensure that testing environments are consistent, scalable, and resilient.Defect Management:Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.Work closely with developers to resolve issues and verify bug fixes.Collaboration :Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience :2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a QA role.Technical Skills:Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases.Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Playwright, TestNG).Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Knowledge of microservices architecture and testing strategies.Certification in QA or related fields is a plus.
