Job Description:Our client is into Manufacture of Corrugated boxes manufacturing – Automated Plant.To lead and manage production planning and control activities in the Automatic Corrugation Plant, ensuring optimum utilization of resources, timely order execution, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards.Job RequirementsExp –Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience into production and planning function of automated corrugated box manufacturing company.Qualification – Any BE or Diploma or graduate (Fulltime pass out only)Job location – DamanMandatory RequirementExperience & knowledge in production planning function of automated corrugation boxes manufacturing’s. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & ControlDevelop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in alignment with sales orders and delivery schedules.Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet changing priorities and urgent requirements.Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and minimize downtime.Operations ManagementCoordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.Drive efficiency improvements in corrugation, printing, slotting, and finishing processes.Ensure inventory levels of raw material, paper reels, inks, and adhesives are maintained as per production requirements.Team Leadership & CoordinationLead, guide, and mentor production planning & shop-floor teams.Foster collaboration across sales, procurement, logistics, and quality departments for seamless order execution.Ensure proper workforce allocation and shift planning.Process Improvement & Cost OptimizationImplement lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.Track KPIs like machine efficiency, productivity, wastage, and downtime.Propose and implement cost-effective measures to improve overall plant performance.Customer & Quality FocusEnsure timely order fulfilment with adherence to quality standards.Address bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery commitments.Drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.Compliance & SafetyEnsure all safety, statutory, and environmental norms are adhered to in plant operations.Promote a culture of workplace safety and hygieneKey Skills Strong expertise in production planning & scheduling in Automatic Corrugation PlantsKnowledge of corrugation machinery, paper grades, and box manufacturing processesProficiency in production planning tools.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong analytical skills with focus on efficiency and cost optimization.Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skillsIf you are passionate to make your career in production planning function of a big group in corrugated boxes mfg.
