Partner with senior leadership to strengthen governance, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic objectives across multi-jurisdictional operations. Key responsibilities: Strategic Audit Leadership : Develop and execute a risk-based global audit plan aligned with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements. Governance & Risk Assurance : Provide assurance on internal controls, ERM framework, IFC compliance, and corporate governance practices. Digital & Data-Driven Auditing : Implement advanced analytics, automation, and continuous monitoring tools to improve audit coverage and efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement : Present findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, and senior leadership. Policy & Process Optimization : Drive development and periodic review of SOPs, DOAs, and internal control frameworks. Vendor & Resource Management : Manage external consultants and optimize audit resources for cost-effectiveness. Team Leadership : Mentor and build a high-performing audit team, fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Special Assignments : Lead sensitive investigations, compliance reviews, and strategic projects. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory); Preferred: CIA, CISA, CFE Experience: 15+ years post-qualification expertise in Internal Audit, ERM, IFC, and risk-based auditing within large, complex organizations (preferably pharma or manufacturing) Prior experience within regulated industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications etc. in the Indian market is highly desirable. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ERP systems, audit analytics tools, and global compliance standards Expertise in risk-based auditing and governance frameworks. Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership and board-level reporting. Ability to manage complex projects and drive change and oversee timely completion of audit plan. Reduction in control gaps and risk exposure. Leadership & Management Skills: Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and team development skills. Strong project management and organizational competencies, adept at handling multiple complex initiatives concurrently. Proven ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Effective management of budgets and vendor partnerships. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all organizational levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and innovative approach.
