Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management:
- Book expenditures and income.
- Account for the company’s day-to-day activities, including purchases and sales.
- Maintain petty cash and manage office expenditures.
Office Administration:
- Handle office administration activities.
- Manage bank-related documentation and transactions.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare books of accounts, including bank reconciliation, sundry debtors, and sundry creditors.
- Prepare balance sheets and review Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Assist in preparing the Budget, forecast, timesheets.
Vendor and Invoice Management:
- Manage vendor payments and raise invoices.
- Handle e-invoicing processes.
Taxation and Compliance:
- Handle GST, income tax notices, and other tax-related documentation.
- File IT returns, annual returns (ROC and MGT 9), and GST annual returns.
- Perform monthly and quarterly TDS filings and monthly and annual PT filings.
Audit Assistance:
- Assist in various audits, including stock audit, tax audit, and GST audits.
- Handle audit-related documents and internal, statutory, and fixed assets audits.
Due Diligence:
- Assist in due diligence processes.
Company Registrations:
- Manage company incorporation, GST registration, and PT registration.
Ledger and Accounts Management:
- Scrutinize ledgers and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Import and Exports Payments:
- Handle imports and exports payments and maintain related documentation.
Payroll Processing:
- Process salary and bank payments.
- Reconcile GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and PT payments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Tally, HostBooks, and Zoho Books.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Should be a team-player and at the same time should be able to handle the given tasks independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Administration, Office assistance or Accounting / Finance department
- Relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
