Identify, clarifying, replicating, forwarding to Level3-4 if needed, tracking, reporting and resolving support issues on Users Access administration to Gold Demo Environments.

Support Activity

Accurately defines issues and clarifies causes of issues.
Explores defined solutions, written in support documentation guidance and verify reproducible test cases
Identifies issues and if the issue is not related to Users administration (access and functional roles) or in activities defined in support documentation, forward the issue to the Level3-4 Gold Environment team for analysis and resolution.
Track the activities for periodically report.

Technologies

The activities will be done using the following technologies:

  • Oracle Slack channel for Gold Environments Support
  • Oracle mail for internal communication to Gold Environments Level3-4 team
  • Oracle zoom for explanation calls, by exception
  • Oracle APEX application for User Administration Standard
  • Oracle Fusion Application Security Control Access for User Administration Extended

1-Foundation

Clarifies and defines issues arising from the Access to Demo Environments through collection of data and appropriate questioning; repeats message to ensure understanding.
Identifies apply and communicates existing solutions/workarounds to issues.
Forward issues not defined in Support documentation to Gold Environments Level3-4
Track issues in order to report periodically the Support Activity data (n. issues-open-closed, issue type, n. issue forwarded to Level3-4)

2-Intermediate

Demonstrates through questioning, accurately defines issues and clarifies potential issue causes, gets the requester to review recent actions/events.
Takes responsibility for issues and resolves routine issues with minimal assistance; rarely passes on a problem.
Attempts many ways to resolve issues before to forward issue to Level3-4
Explores unfamiliar areas in an effort to solve issues, but where necessary seeks help in a timely manner.
Define improvement to the support procedure, support documentation available as Level1 Self-Service support and periodically reporting.

3-Skilled

Adept at issue clarification through understanding of related Functional or process need.
Constructs reproducible test cases and identifies likely points of failure before contacting Gold Environments Level3-4 on product related issues.
Identifies new issues and rapidly develops support solutions.
Take governance of the support procedure from a continuous innovation point of view.
