Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, Python, and PySpark.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimize and maintain data architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Perform data validation, cleaning, and integration from various data sources to support analytics and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Lead and mentor junior data engineers in the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Proficient in Python and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse design, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Data Management: Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Immediate Availability: Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other data engineering tools like Kafka, Airflow, or Spark is an advantage.
  • Certification in Snowflake or related data engineering technologies is a plus.
