Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Operations Consultant to join our Global Business Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Business Officer to deliver insights and strategic guidance on data management. Your responsibilities will include ensuring data quality, partnering with Finance, Sales, and other departments to address data-related issues, and supporting organizational budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Candidate should possess understanding of IT Services Industry, strong expertise in data management, advanced Excel functions, and familiarity with Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organizational Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with regional heads to establish and monitor budgetary goals aligned with business objectives.
  2. Conduct monthly forecasting to track financial performance against targets
  3. Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive P&L analysis to assess profitability across different service lines and regions.
  4. Conduct cost analysis to evaluate expense drivers and inform budgeting decisions, guiding the CBO on financial strategies.
  5. Data Consolidation & Management: Act as the primary data consolidator, gathering and integrating data from Finance, Sales, and other departments for the Revenue Forecast.
  6. Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources, performing regular audits and validations.
  7. Data Quality Assurance: Identify, analyze, and highlight data quality issues to relevant stakeholders, working collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
  8. Establish best practices for data governance and compliance to enhance overall data management processes.
  9. Collaboration Across Departments: Collaborate with all departments to understand data requirements and improve data collection processes.
  10. Foster effective communication and teamwork to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  11. Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports for the CBO and senior management, summarizing financial performance, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.
  12. Clearly communicate complex data analyses and findings, ensuring the CBO is well-informed for decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education:

MBA, Operations or MBA, Finance from reputed Management school to the equivalent of IIMs or ISB.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations or financial analysis, preferably within the IT services sector.
  • Proven track record in organizational budgeting, forecasting, data consolidation, and data quality management.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic functions, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Familiarity with CRM/MIS systems and their data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
