UEFI Firmware Engineer

Lead the design, development, and debugging of UEFI firmware for ARM (preferably ARMv9.0-A) Multicore HPC Platform.Code Review and Optimization:
Review code for performance, reliability, and maintainability; optimize firmware for speed and efficiency.Collaboration:
Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate firmware functionality and performance.Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of firmware design, development processes, and testing procedures.Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices; continuously seek opportunities to improve firmware quality and development processes.
Required Qualifications:Education:
B.E. / B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in CS or ECEExperience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in UEFI firmware development.Technical Skills:Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.Strong understanding of UEFI specifications and architecture.Hands on knowledge with ARM latest multicore architecture, like ARMv9.0-A.Experience with ARM Virtual Environment.Experience with firmware development tools and environments (e.g., EDK II, UEFI Shell).Emulators & Virtual Platforms: Experience in working with Emulators and Virtual Platforms like QEMU, Zebu,Virtualizer etc.Knowledge of hardware interfaces and protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI).Familiarity with system boot processes and BIOS/UEFI configuration.Experience with debugging tools and techniques (e.g., JTAG, ICE, DS5/Trace32, logic analyzers).Experience with Git, Jira tools.Understanding of security features and secure boot implementations.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with open-source firmware projects.Knowledge of operating systems internals(Linux).Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl).Experience with Agile development methodologies.UEFI exposure on ARM Multicore Platform
