CBS Architect

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Core Banking Solution (CBS) Architect to spearhead our CBS initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in core banking platforms (preferably Finacle or similar), with a strong track record in leading end-to-end CBS implementations, migrations, customizations, and support. This is a strategic leadership role requiring both technical depth and business acumen to drive CBS transformation and innovation across our banking ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• CBS Strategy & Roadmap: Develop, maintain and execute the CBS architecture strategy aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements and overall enterprise architecture.
• Implementation & Migration Leadership: Lead CBS implementation, upgrade, and migration projects across modules (Retail, Corporate, Lending, CRM, Treasury, etc.) and other third party peripheral applications.
• Customization & Integration Oversight: Manage CBS customization, parameterization, and integration with third-party systems via APIs, ESB, MQ, etc.
• Support & Enhancement Management: Oversee CBS support services, issue resolution, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure CBS architecture adheres to compliance, security, and risk management standards. Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, data privacy laws, and cybersecurity standards.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor high-performing CBS teams, fostering collaboration across business and technology units.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
• Architect Design - Lead the design of application, data, infrastructure, and security architectures. Support digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, API strategy, and data modernization. Maintain documentation of architecture models, diagrams, and decision logs.
• Change Management - Conduct impact analysis for new projects and changes to existing systems.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Finacle v10.x or above or similar CBS platforms.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud migration strategies is a plus.
• Proven experience in CBS architecture design, performance optimization, and scalability planning.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, data privacy norms, and audit requirements.
• Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architecture frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and API management.
• Knowledge of data architecture, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Educational Qualifications:

• Full-time Graduation from a recognized university.

• Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Additional certifications in CBS platforms, cloud technologies, or enterprise architecture are a plus.
• Strong understanding of Banking domain
