Background

Palladium in India has active projects with Urban Local Bodies as well as Government Clients in multiple cities. Palladium has developed the vision, mission, and objectives including the City Strategy 2030 for one of the ULBs, and is now assisting the ULB in implementing strategic impactful projects across three city transformation areas viz.- Skills for Jobs, Living with our Rivers, and Health & Wellness.

Palladium is also assisting with various tasks such as floating Municipal Bonds, carrying out Feasibility Studies, Commercial Viability Studies, Public Financing, and Project Finance across Infrastructure/Urban Development. As a part of this engagement, Palladium shall be supporting the client in taking forward various interventions in several areas of City Strategy 2030.

In that context, Palladium is seeking to onboard a candidate to support the project requirements.


Expectations from the Consultant

This role is a client-facing role and the selected candidate shall be expected to work closely with the Client, internal Palladium teams as well as Experts onboarded from time to time. The Candidate is expected to assist in Palladium in driving the project ensuring the preparation of quality deliverables as well as assisting in day-to-day operations including:

  • Support the Client and Team and ensure timely execution of the tasks as per the agreed work plan.
  • Assisting in the development of PPP projects, financial assessment, transaction advisory, etc.
  • Assist in carrying out financial analysis, annual budgeting, development of financial reports, etc.
  • Provide financial management information by preparing financial status analysis and reports.
  • Assisting in Bid Procurement/Bid Process Management
  • Conducting research, analysis, developing the reports, presentations.
  • General problem-solving, concept development, project management, and facilitation.
  • Candidates with a basic understanding of The National Municipal Accounts Manual will be preferred.
  • Any other assistance required for other projects.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Master of Management/ Business Administration or Economics/ Equivalent with specialization in Finance
  • More than 4 years of relevant experience across areas of Project Assessment, Public Finance Government agencies
  • Experience in assisting Government Departments/ ULBs in financial assessment.
  • Experience in project finance across urban development/ infrastructure
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must. Understanding of Marathi language is desirable.


Location - This is a client-facing role requiring the candidate to be based out of the Client Office in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune.
