Role Overview : We are looking for a Java Developer with expertise in AWS and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend development, cloud computing, and microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications. Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, and API Gateway. Implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security in microservices. Work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Kafka to build highly efficient applications. Utilize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes) for continuous deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and system failures. Requirements : 5 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot & Microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, etc.). Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices. Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar). Proficiency in SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.). Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage. (ref:hirist.tech)
