Frontend Engineer or Software Development Engineer II

We’re excited about you if you have:
At least 3-5 years of experience in software development, including experience building modern frontends in a microservices environment
Excellent programming skills in Javascript and great DOM manipulation skills; expertise in React, including Flux or Redux; ability to translate mockups and wireframes to UI using HTML and CSS
Experience with development tools such as Webpack, NPM, and so on
Good understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication using JWTs, and other associated aspects
Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira and modern frontend pipelines
Experience working in Cloud environments such as AWS
Experience building secure, reusable, configurable and observable frontends
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to performance optimization
Familiarity working in an Agile environment
The ability to collaborate effectively within and across engineering, product and business teams
You will mostly spend time on the following:
Working with UX designers and leading the implementation of application frontends
Driving engineering initiatives for your team with a focus on quality, maintainability, availability, scalability, security, performance and stability
Writing efficient, maintainable, scalable, high-quality code
Reviewing code and tests
Refactoring and improving code
Teaching and mentoring team members
