About the role:


We are looking for someone who can manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax matters. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations and a proven track record of effectively managing tax-related tasks and compliance in a financial services or fintech environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for preparing/reviewing & timely payment of Monthly TDS liability.
  • Manage GST audits and assessments, responding to queries from tax authorities.
  • Adhering to regulatory and statutory compliance of RBI and other regulatory
  • Preparing and Filing Income Tax, GST, TDS returns as well as Annual MCA compliances.
  • Finalize Income Tax Audits for Corporate and Non - Corporates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize indirect tax liability.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in tax regulations.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of all tax-related documents.
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to enhance tax compliance.


Experience & Qualifications Required:


  • CA post qualification with 1-2 years of work experience in taxation, with a focus on both direct and indirect taxes.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced work environment
