Job Description:

1. Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

2. Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, codes, and regulations, including API standards, and oversee the certification process. Familiarity with API certification process is essential, and experience in handling at least one certification audit successfully is required.

3. Quality Control: Establish quality control procedures and inspection criteria to monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials inspection to final product testing.

4. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and ensure that purchased components and materials meet quality standards.

5. Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and resolve non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

6. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.

7. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices, fostering a culture of quality consciousness and continuous learning.

8. Risk Management: Identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement, proactively addressing potential issues to mitigate risks and improve overall product quality and reliability.

9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans. Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certification in Quality Management or a related discipline is preferred.

· 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the valve manufacturing industry.

· In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, quality standards (e.g., API), and regulatory requirements.

· Experience with API certification process and successful handling of at least one certification audit is essential.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.

· Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior product quality and customer satisfaction.
