Lead Financial Analyst

Job Description:
The Lead Financial Analyst provides business decision support and financial data analysis to senior and/or business unit management. There is an emphasis on extracting and interpreting relevant data with the goal of making recommendations for changes to improve the Business process. We are pursuing a more centralized operating model and need an individual that can apply their business acumen to a wide variety of challenges and find efficiencies.
Provide periodic and ad hoc analysis to divisional management to support business decision making.
Build and maintain financial models to aid in forecasting, cost estimation and pricing
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial models, data and reporting.
Streamline and improve existing processes.
Consult with internal and external clients.
Monitor investments and capital expenditures.
Mentor junior level financial analysts.
Verify that transactions are documented and in compliance with GAAP, government regulations and client contractual obligations.
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
Required Experience:
Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
MBA or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred.
Relevant Years of Experience Required:
More than 7 years of progressively responsible financial experience.
Prior experience analyzing financial data for a mid to large size organization and preparing reports for management is desired.
Other Requirements (Specialized skill sets, behavioral/technical):
Strong financial systems acumen.
Strong analytical and planning skillset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Advanced Pivot Tables.
Ability to Communicate Effectively.
Time Management and Organizational Skills.
Ability to Prioritize.
