We are seeking experienced Restaurant Executive Chefs to lead the Culinary operations across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru outlets.
Job Description :
As a Regional Culinary Directors you will be responsible for managing all aspects of culinary operations across the regional outlets, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. You will oversee menu execution, food quality, kitchen operations, and staff training, ensuring that Tovo’s standards of excellence are consistently met. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that each location delivers high-quality food that aligns with Tovo’s fresh and fast service model.
Key Responsibilities :
- Culinary Leadership : Lead and oversee the entire culinary operations for Tovo outlets in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all units.
- Menu Management & Development : Ensure that menu items are aligned with Tovo’s brand promise of fresh, healthy, and sustainable offerings. Collaborate with the product development team to introduce new, innovative dishes and seasonal menu updates.
- Quality Control & Compliance : Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies across all kitchens.
- Team Training & Development : Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to ensure they adhere to Tovo’s operational and culinary standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and culinary excellence.
- Supplier & Inventory Management : Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure the sourcing of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Oversee inventory management to optimize costs and minimize wastage.
- Operational Efficiency : Work closely with restaurant management to ensure that kitchens are operating efficiently, meeting food preparation timelines, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Cost Management : Monitor food costs and kitchen expenses to ensure profitability, working to improve operational efficiencies without compromising food quality.
- Customer Feedback & Adaptation : Analyze consumer feedback and implement necessary adjustments to improve menu offerings and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Culinary Trends & Innovation : Stay up to date on culinary trends and innovations, incorporating new techniques and sustainable practices to keep Tovo’s menu fresh and exciting.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in the QSR, F&B, or hospitality industry.
- Experience working in prestigious hospitality chains such as IHCL (Indian Hotels Company Limited), Sheraton, or leading QSR brands is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to train and mentor kitchen staff.
- Experience in managing food quality, inventory, and cost control.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in managing multi-location culinary operations.
- Familiarity with modern culinary trends, sustainable practices, and menu innovation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
