What You Will Accomplish Here…
An exciting position is open within the QA team. The Supervisor is responsible for the monitoring of daily operations of a group to ensure optimum productivity while maintaining the integrity of the Department.
This position will effectively support the QA teams by focusing on the following:
Assigns and allocates work in a manner that utilizes employee’s strengths to efficiently maintain operations Assumes a leadership role in helping others achieve excellent results by motivating and influencing others Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all work performed Provides updates on workload and personnel performance to the Manager Assists in developing operations processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies in the Department in conjunction with the Department Manager and/or Director Supervises Department personnel, which involves direct responsibilities for training, motivating, and performance evaluations Regularly documents positive and negative performance results for team members, including documenting training, meetings, and developing Performance Improvement Plans, as necessary Identifies superior performers and provides recommendations for promotions Identifies poor performers and/or behaviour issues and notifies the Department Manager and/or Human Resources Models behaviour consistent with CORE values, setting the same expectations for his/her team Consistently reviews, approves, and submits administrative work, including but not limited to timecards prior to established due dates Maintains a safe and secure work environment Product Certification: The Quality Assurance Supervisor serves as an Evaluator as listed on the Product Certification organizational chart Fields concerns from the Documentation Specialists and Documentation Review Specialists Performs other duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Skills:
Certification, formal training, education or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience requirements A minimum of 3 years of experience with gaming industry required. Supervisory skills required; prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is required Must have a high level of initiative with the ability to train and motivate others Strong ability to work independently or in a team setting is required Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with internal and external parties Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctnessGaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a gaming services company.
