The PR and Communications team at Agilitas is responsible for managing the company's reputation, driving brand visibility, and engaging with key stakeholders, including media, consumers, and industry influencers. Our team works closely with the marketing, product, and leadership teams to craft narratives that align with our brand’s mission and values. We are storytellers who strategically communicate Agilitas' vision to the world.
A Day In The Life
As the PR and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that strengthen Agilitas' reputation, enhance brand awareness, and engage with target audiences. Your role will involve managing media relations, crafting press releases, handling crisis communications, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that supports product launches, company initiatives, and broader marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement PR and communication strategies that align with Agilitas' brand and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to ensure positive coverage and brand visibility.
Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials for key company announcements, product launches, and events.
Handle crisis communications, ensuring timely and effective responses to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
Work closely with internal teams to craft messaging for marketing campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives.
Manage media inquiries and interview requests, preparing key messaging and briefing executives as needed.
Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to improve communication efforts.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all internal and external communication channels.
Plan and execute PR events, media briefings, and public speaking opportunities for company leadership.
Collaborate with digital marketing and content teams to amplify key messages across social media platforms and online channels.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields, preferably in the sportswear, lifestyle, or retail industries.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR strategies and managing media relationships.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives.
Experience handling crisis communications and navigating complex PR challenges.
Strong media contacts and relationships within the industry.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in PR and media monitoring tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
