JobPurpose
The incumbent will leverage a deepunderstanding of computational biology approaches andcombine
bioinformatics multiomics analyses dataanalytics for life sciences and healthcare applications.
KeyResponsibilities:
Deliver bioinformaticsapplications and integrative solutions to complex problems inpharma and other
domains
Perform multiomicsdata processing assembly analysis reporting and integrativeanalysis to answer
biological questions informclinically meaningful insights
Work withbioinformaticians data scientists and software engineers to scaleand strengthen computational
approaches from theR&D lab through to deployment as highthroughputreproducible workflows
Execute protein bioinformaticstasks including sequence database searches preparing researchliterature
summaries protein and nucleotide sequencealignments and phylogenetic analysis.
Monitor projectsmilestones and deliverables to ensure completion on time and withinspecification
Educational Qualification:
PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics/ComputationalBiology/Computational Genomics or related
discipline
Technical/functionalSkills:
Proven track record of developingsolutions that combine omics molecular biology statisticsand
bioinformatics algorithms.
Experience instatistical analysis and bioinformaticsmethods/tools/databases
Outstanding command ofstatistics quantitative data analysis and complex datavisualization
Experience in analyzing multiplebiological data modalities including genomics epigenomicsproteomics
transcriptomics metagenomics
Working knowledge of content analysis methods and applications usedin therapeutic discovery
preclinical researchtranslational medicine and clinical science domains
Knowledge of systems modeling approaches
Experience:
7 years ofrelevant work experience
