Applications are invited for the following position under the ICMR-funded research project titled: "Seizure-Sentry: Wearable Epilepsy Prediction Device for Enhanced Patient Safety through Timely Alerts and Personalized Seizure Management"

· Number of Posts: 01

· Fellowship: ₹67,200/- per month (including HRA)

· Appointment Duration: 1 year (extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance)

Project Objective:

This project aims to develop a wearable epilepsy prediction device integrated with biosensors, AI/ML models, and real-time data processing to provide early seizure alerts and improve patient safety.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

· Design and develop biosensor integration frameworks for EEG and physiological signal acquisition.

· Implement AI/ML algorithms for seizure prediction and real-time data analysis.

· Optimize hardware-software integration for efficient signal processing.

· Conduct data collection, analysis, and validation using clinical and simulated datasets.

· Prior experience in EEG analysis is highly desirable.

· Candidates available to join at the earliest will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:

  • First Class Post Graduate degree including the integrated post-graduate degrees with three years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong experience in Circuit simulation in EDA tools , EEG signal processing, biosensor integration, AI/ML, and wearable healthcare devices .
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, OpenBCI, and embedded system programming .
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and real-time signal analytics .

● The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

● No TA & DA will be given for the attending interview.
