Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join the India retail technology team for one of our major retail clients. This person will be joining a team that develops new front-end features for their Store Engagement projects including Digital Store Pages, local outreach and their in store digital visuals integrated with their content management system. This position is a highly technical role with accountability for product development. The team is fast-paced and taking on exciting new initiatives to support a fast-growing business. The team operates following agile framework and leverage multiple product teams across our various functions.

Required Skills & Experience


• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering/Information Technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience.
• 10+ years of of software engineering experience, including solid understanding of standard data structures and algorithms
• Expert level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem
• AWS
• Demonstrated experience in web application development for large enterprises
• Ability to design and architect Enterprise JavaScript applications using React.Js, Next.Js
• Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Redux )
• Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX and templating technologies
• Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks
• Proficient understanding of build tools and code version tools, such as Git
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions
• Good understanding of browser development tools and performance optimization
• Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics
• Ability to work independently on tasks and lead a project to completion
