About Position:

Looking for a senior VMware InfraOps Engineer to join our dynamic Our Solution engineering team. Persistent is offering a highly visible, large-scale enterprise platform delivering standardized and automated VMware virtualization solutions on Cloud including a growing number of high value add-on services and solutions (HCX, Caveonix, Veeam, Zerto, etc). Here we brings together the Cloud infrastructure and VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, Director, vSAN, NSX, SDDC, and many more) to simplify configuration and management with ease of moving VMware workloads from on-premise to the Cloud. What You'll Do:

• Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments including ESXi and vCenter Server.
• Perform patching and updates on ESXi hosts and Windows systems using WSUS.
• Configure and manage vCenter features such as HA, DRS, vSwitches, alerts, health monitoring, and vCenter High Availability (vCHA).
• Troubleshoot and resolve resource-related issues across virtual environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance automation and standardization of VMware solutions.
• Work with VMware cloud services including vCloud Director.
• Provide basic support and configuration for vSAN environments.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi.
• Proficiency in ESXi server administration, including patching and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with vCenter configurations: HA, DRS, networking, alerts, and health checks.
• Working knowledge of VMware Cloud services and vCloud Director.
• Basic understanding of vSAN architecture and operations.
• Preferred: Experience with Windows patching using WSUS.
