Job description:

Senior SW Developer – Android App Development (Kotlin, Jetpack compose)

to join the team of experts at client. You will work together with other professionals to develop advanced client digital solutions that leverage the latest in cloud and connectivity technologies.

You are a Mobile development expert who is passionate about designing and implementing solutions for our mobile service tools. You are familiar with the software development patterns and can turn the architectural plans to concrete SW designs. You understand and appreciate the modern SW development practices. You work at your best when you are working with people, and you enjoy helping others.

You will work in a key role inside our Agile SW development team. Your closest colleagues will be other developers, test professionals and the PO of the team. You will be part of and Innovation unit's Maintenance R&D Tribe.

Main responsibilities include,

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin for both Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and Jetpack compose framework.

To be successful in this role,

• Must have Android native app development exp(3-7 years) with Jetpack compose framework.
• Kotlin MP with compose framework is an added advantage.
• Cross platform experience.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development life cycle.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and integration with third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of mobile development best practices and guidelines for both iOS and Android platforms.
