This role will manage Benefits & Retirement plans* within the Region, as outlined under key responsibilities. The incumbent will work with the Reward Lead / Teams in countries where these roles exist to provide insights and support with governance vs. pro-active management of the Benefits offering.
Hiring Requirements
The Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing the activities below for their aligned countries. This role will be customer facing and will receive activity via ServiceNOW, Workday and for global process / project work via the CoE (through the C&B SC Lead / Benefits Lead, as applicable).
Experience- 10 to 15 Years
Education- Any Graduate or Postgraduate
The Benefits Manager will hold accountability for:
Benefits Benchmarking
• Supports the Global Benchmarking Team with Benefits survey submissions providing insights and information on top of the data contained in Workday (with support from the applicable Benefits Administration Teams)
• Supports the Global Benchmarking Team to investigate data issues, matching errors or data gaps
• Utilizes the Benefits benchmarking data provided by the Global Benchmarking Team to validate the competitiveness of Benefits packages within the defined area of responsibility
• Identifies opportunities to change / update the Benefits offering, incl. reviewing take-up data to determine whether the Benefit is being used by employees
Benefits Vendor Management
• Management of the relationships with existing vendors incl. acting as TPO, managing data privacy etc
• Vendor negotiation, ensuring the best possible coverage / offering for employees at the best rate for organization
• Organization ownership of the vendor platform – includes monitoring the performance of the platform, that the data contained within the platform / provided to employees via their representatives is up to date and correct
• Ensuring vendors deliver against their agreed SLAs and with high levels of quality and customer experience
• Monitoring of budgets / spends
Governance
• Ensuring Benefits are governed as per the Reward Governance Framework
• Proactively driving Benefits updates / changes via the Country Duty Holder (HR), Finance, Legal and Procurement
• Facilitating the approvals including via the Country Customer Board
Day to Day
• Managing Benefits processes including administration in co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Answering queries not managed by outsourced providers (as applicable)
• Managing escalations coming through via the outsourced providers
• Responding to requests for insights / trend data from the businesses
• Developing communications to ensure that employees are aware of our Benefits offering / for specific initiatives (with sup

• Identifying different ways to engage with employees on our Benefits offering e.g. campaigns via Service NOW, considering how the data available in Workday can be utilized etc
• Roll out of annual benefit programmes new and existing and end to end management of the process
Total Employment Cost Analysis
• Manages the Benefits elements of the TEC analysis to refresh the multipliers on an annual basis.
• Resolves any inconsistencies / queries relating to TECs working with Payroll, Finance and Tier 1 as applicable
• Consolidates the submissions of Benefits elements for the countries within remit passing these to the Compensation Mgr / Regional Process Mgr for final validation and coordination (as per regional ways of working)
Capability Building
• Holds expert knowledge of Benefit packages within the Region which enables the upskilling of colleagues (including the Compensation Team and Tier 1 Benefits Administration support)
• Delivers education / capability building within the countries incl. for managers and employees as required
Project Work
• Providing Benefits related support for business changes e.g. M&A activity etc.
Governance & Risk Management
• All the above is underpinned by the Reward Governance Framework (RGF)
• The Benefits Manager must be familiar with, always educate on and apply the RGF
• Contribution to the local risk management process
