Job Title : UFT Test Automation Engineer


Location : : 8+ Years


Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced UFT Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in automating desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to mentor team members, and effective coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation :


- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).



- Automate testing for desktop applications, ensuring thorough test coverage and high-quality Development :


- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.



- Continuously improve automation frameworks to accommodate changes in the application under & Coordination :



- Work closely with project teams to understand testing requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs.



- Coordinate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of automation efforts into the project & Leadership :



- Mentor and guide junior team members on automation processes, tools, and best practices.


- Share knowledge on UFT and test automation strategies with the broader :



- Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.



- Document and report automation progress, results, and issues to relevant :



- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on UFT test automation.


- Proven experience automating desktop applications.


- Extensive experience in creating, enhancing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.


- Strong understanding of test automation best practices and methodologies.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to mentor and lead a team, sharing expertise in both technology and Skills :


- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.


- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.


- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


- Experience with other test automation tools and technologies is a plus.
