We are hiring on behalf of a leading contracting and construction company based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Position: Instrumentation Estimation Engineer

We are looking for candidates with 5 to 7 years of experience in instrumentation estimation, who are proficient in pricing and preparing technical proposals.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Estimating instrumentation projects accurately and efficiently.- Developing cost estimates based on project specifications.- Preparing and submitting technical proposals to clients.- Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

1. Estimation: Utilize expertise in instrumentation engineering to accurately estimate the costs of instrumentation projects, including materials, labor, and other relevant expenses.2. Analysis: Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine the scope of work and develop comprehensive estimates.3. Cost Management: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.4. Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of cost estimates, including breakdowns of materials, labor, subcontractor costs, and any other relevant expenses.5. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with instrumentation projects and provide recommendations to mitigate them.6. Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates.7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in instrumentation engineering to continuously improve estimation processes and techniques.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.2. Proven experience in instrumentation engineering, with a focus on estimation and cost analysis.3. Strong understanding of instrumentation systems and components.4. Proficiency in estimation software and tools.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.7. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.8. Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.9. Experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industries is preferred but not required.

Salary for this position will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, which will be further discussed during the interview process.
