Job Description

The person should perform the following in his role:Create plans, manage team, and execute against agreed timelines, Manage overall plan and day to day activities of team membersCreate engineering and specification documents for existing, ongoing and future feature developmentProvide technical leadership to teammates and establish code review process and undertake code reviews, team mentoring and coaching with the objective ofEstablishing core team values, competencies and best practice.Represent firmware/software in interdepartmental projects and product development planning, Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habitsIdentify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Package and support deployment of releases.Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation ofAdhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Research and evaluate a variety of software products . Responsible for embedded design and design changes of a module / subsystem / systemLead in Architecture, Design and Development phases of SW development with high quality aligned with the requirements.Interact with cross-functional teams within the organization and with clients. Responsible for software reliability and efficiency.Create/Support in appropriate project documentation. Maintains software by conducting design/code reviews, debugging and implementing changesParticipate in software project proposal, planning and estimation activities. Participate in software risk management activities such as software hazard analysis etc.Contribute/Support DVT, Board bring up, testing and report generation activities Strong Communication skills with ability to communicate to the customer independently
