Position: General Manager FinanceLocation: Surat, GujaratIndustry: Medical Device Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

Overseeing Financial Planning and Analysis:- Lead and manage financial planning and analysis activities, including long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.- Develop financial models and perform financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

2. Managing the Finance Team:- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.- Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and ensure the team meets its goals.- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

3. Supporting Strategic Decision-Making:- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.- Participate in key decision-making processes as a member of the executive team.

4. Coordinating Budgeting and Forecasting Processes:- Oversee the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with strategic goals.- Develop and maintain financial forecasts to guide business planning and decision-making.- Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

5. Ensuring Financial Compliance and Risk Management:- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.- Develop and implement robust financial controls to mitigate risks.- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure financial integrity.

6. Providing Financial Insights and Recommendations to the CFO:- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to the CFO and senior management.- Support the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies.Qualifications:

Education:- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.- CA/CPA or MBA in Finance preferred.

Experience:- 15 years & above experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support.

Skills:- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Effective communication and presentation skills.- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
