Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and customizing themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements while ensuring the websites are visually appealing, responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance and security. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with the latest WordPress developments and best practices. Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client and project requirements.- Conduct regular website performance assessments and implement optimization strategies for speed and SEO.- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance, bugs, and functionality problems.- Implement and maintain responsive design to ensure optimal user experience across devices.- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to integrate new website features and updates.- Ensure website security by conducting regular updates, performing vulnerability assessments, and implementing security best practices.- Manage and maintain website hosting environments, ensuring uptime and performance stability.- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and resolve issues before deployment.- Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance website functionality.- Provide technical support and training to clients as needed, ensuring they can manage and update their websites effectively.- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).- Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Solid experience with PHP and MySQL for back-end development and database management.- Experience with version control systems such as Git for collaboration and code management.- Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.- Proficiency in using security tools and implementing security measures to protect WordPress sites from vulnerabilities.- Experience with web hosting platforms and tools like cPanel or Plesk.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
