Job Overview :


As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, customizing and implementing solutions using the Odoo ERP platform, and ensuring the successful integration of various modules. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business applications.


Responsibilities :


- Customization and Development : Customize and develop Odoo modules based on business requirements. Design and implement enhancements to existing Odoo modules.


- Integration : Integrate Odoo with other systems and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow. Implement data migration and integration processes.


- Database Management : Manage and optimize Odoo databases for performance and scalability. Ensure data consistency and integrity within the Odoo environment.


- Workflow Automation : Design and implement workflow automation within Odoo to streamline business processes. Develop and deploy automated scripts and scheduled jobs.


- User Training and Support : Provide training to end-users on Odoo functionalities and modules. Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.


- Custom Report Development : Create custom reports using Odoo reporting tools to meet specific business reporting needs. Generate and maintain documentation for custom reports.


- Security Implementation : Implement security measures within Odoo to safeguard data and ensure compliance with security best practices. Regularly audit and update security configurations.


- Collaboration : Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Odoo solutions into the overall business landscape.


- Version Upgrades : Manage and execute Odoo version upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime.


Requirements :


Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience :


- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer or in a similar role.


- In-depth knowledge of Odoo ERP functionalities and architecture.


Technical Skills :


- Proficiency in Python programming language.


- Strong understanding of Odoo development, customization, and module integration.


Database Skills :


- Experience with PostgreSQL database management within the Odoo framework.


Analytical Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and optimizing Odoo solutions.


Communication Skills :


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Team Collaboration :


- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other departments.


Certifications :


- Relevant certifications in Odoo development are a plus.
