Specific Responsibility
Preparation of the Schedules for various GL accounts assignedMonthly MIS on Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credits, Bank Deposits, Tax assessments status, and Insurance Claims pendingLodging the Insurance claims and follow-up to receive the claims in time.Quarterly advance tax calculations and paymentsAttending to Income Tax matters including Transfer Pricing up to assessments in coordination with consultantsCoordinating various audits like Stat, Tax, TP, Internal, etc., along with Asst.ManagerAssist the Manager at the time of Finalization of accounts and Tax returnsMonitoring Bank Deposits for their maturity, and placement and ensuring the maximum benefit of InterestCoordinating with Secretarial consultants to ensure secretarial compliance and keep the records up to dateEnsure proper backups for the Schedules to signed financials to ensure the smooth flow of Tax assessments laterEnsure the appropriate provisions are made for the assigned GL on a monthly basisEnsuring the compliance of the exception raised with respect to ICFR and internal audit teamsEnsuring the Compilation of GL schedule files (Soft copies by the 9th working day & Hard copies by the 20th day) & Review.Ensure correct accounting of the entries reflecting the correct division-wise balance sheet accounting.
Skill Sets:A high level of Proficiency in Financial Accounting and Accounting StandardsInteractive and able to coordinate well with all the departments across the organization and with the auditors.Effective communication skillsComputer savvy, with a good skill set in Excel and other MS applications.
