Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the QA team in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Establish and monitor quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and train junior QA engineers.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and scripting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
