Develop specifications design basis philosophiesdesigns related to piping engineering discipline for the
application. Perform design to match specifications
Support for cost estimating. Provide necessary inputs for otherdisciplines to perform design engineering
anddrafting.
Support for developing MDL for the productidentified.
Review / comment on P&IDs and performP&ID walkdowns on fabricated equipment. Performmodel
review (30%/60%/90%).
Perform initialdesign and final design solutions on a project conceptualize plansdetails and sections to
accurately convey constructionor fabrication requirements.
Prepares and develops 2Dand/ or 3D CAD designs.
Responsible for checking andback checking computer models and piping drawings
Ensurecompliance with approved design standards to provide qualitydesign.
Coordinate vendor supplied drawings orinformation into project drawings.
Extract computerpiping drawings and isometrics.
Prepare Bill ofMaterial. Recommend manual valves best suited forapplication.
Provide preliminary valve weightsCommunicate and interface with other engineeringdisciplines.
Attend CAD model reviews asrequired.
Shall get the Pipe stress analysis done fromcompetent engineer and update the model
Assist indeveloping Cameron Standards for Cameron products.
Maintaining project documentation.
Teaming up withprocess engineers. Prepare valve list as per P&ID
Perform with civil or structural along with stress departments toassure suitable flexibility and assist
pipingsystems.
Ensure performance of staff members complieswith established project standards.
Review projectparameters related to piping requirements.
Participatein meetings plus provide project status.
Aid sales andcontracts for proposals.
Prepare and manage schedule forpiping design projects.
Actively support participate inand maintain the integrity and ongoing function of the companyand
facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy workenvironment.
When delegated must be able to assume alead technical role over other engineers or project
subgroups for completing specific tasks.
As applicablemust be able to perform or assist in the performance of problemroot cause analysis and
lessons learned.
Asrequired must be able to assists in onthejobtraining and mentoringof assigned personnel.
Approve and follow engineeringschedule coordinate design work as applicable forecastmanhour
estimates and utilize MOC process.
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering andrelated piping experience.
Knowledge of processindustry/ regulatory codes and standards.
Able toconceptualize and draw design details independently with minorinstruction from project
engineering.
Familiar with national and international codes and standards forvalves testing and construction
inspection and NDErequirements and field installation and startupprocedures.
Must be familiar with piping specificationsadministrative and technical practices designinstructions
plot plans flow diagrams and interpretingvendor information.
Knowledge of pipe supportrequirements.
Good knowledge of all valve types andtheir limitations
