Job Description
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to help manage the transition from Client's PF Trust to EPFO successfully ensuring all necessary compliance with the regulations.
Job Background/context:
Client has an established Provident Fund Trust for its employees which was accorded recognition by the Commissioner of Income Tax. The PF Trust is not registered with the Employee Provident Fund Organization (“EPFO”) and is considered to be a ‘private and excluded trust’. The Trust is managed by Trustees who are part of Citi India Leadership team. Client now wants to register its PF Trust with EPFO and is currently evaluating vendors/consultants to liaise b/w client and the EPFO office for this project. our Client wants to onboard a resource as the lead project manager for managing this transition to EPFO end-to-end. The expectation is to work with the internal Client stakeholders and the empaneled vendor to carry out the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the project context and create a detailed project plan with key milestones.
- Define the project scope, potential risks and identify key resources for specific project related tasks.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones on multiple complex requirements.
- Be diligent with ensuring an audit trail is kept where key decisions are made.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate delays and highlight to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify stakeholders and key organizations in order to build and manage relationships.
- Liaise with internal Client's stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, HR Ops etc.) as well as the SPOCs from Clients empaneled vendor to ensure project is on track.
- Set up necessary meeting cadences required to track progress, seek updates and ensure timely completion of project.
- Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues related to the project.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives.
- Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
- Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
- Vendor management as per Citi Third party management guidelines for the Citi empaneled vendor for the project within timelines.
- Supporting with relevant employee communication materials with regards to the project
- Ensuring that the project is carried out with compliance to all the relevant regulations.
