Title: Plant Quality Manager Reports to: Plant Manager Location: Pune Role Overview: The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all plant operations meet the client’s Excellence System requirements while aligning with customer expectations and corporate guidelines. This role plays a critical part in driving Quality standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities: Represent customer requirements within the plant and ensure they are integrated into all processes. Define Plant Quality objectives, track performance, and drive corrective actions. Manage and maintain the Plant Quality System in line with the client’s Excellence System. Establish, staff, and develop a robust Plant Quality team. Ensure adherence to all Safety and regulatory standards. Report Quality results to stakeholders and maintain accurate records/documentation. Partner with the Purchasing organization on Supplier Quality Assurance initiatives. Exercise authority to interrupt manufacturing or product delivery when Quality standards are not met. Qualifications & Experience: Engineering degree with mechanical background . 10-12 years of proven experience in handling Customer Quality for OEMs. Exposure to seating systems and sheet metal components is essential. Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of Six Sigma implementation, IATF16949, 8D, and 5W1H problem-solving methodologies.
