Role Overview

As the Creative Director (Head of Design) you will lead our design department inspiring a team of talented designers and creators to deliver cuttingedge design solutions that resonate with our diverse client base. This role demands a perfect blend of strategic thinking and creative with a focus on both traditional and digital media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Guide and nurture a team of designers offering feedback and encouragement to support their professional advancement. Create an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration ensuring a welcoming and inclusive team culture. Build and gradually expand the design team hiring and nurturing top talent.

  • Creative Direction: Craft and communicate a cohesive creative vision for projects that align with client goals and brand standards. Work closely with clients and account teams to grasp project needs and offer strategic creative insights. Own the creative direction for multiple clients and gradually for Nine Degree as a brand.

  • Concept Development: Spearhead brainstorming and ideation sessions leading the team in generating bold ideas and solutions. Transform these creative concepts into engaging designs across print digital and experiential mediums.

  • Design : Manage the design process from inception to completion guaranteeing the delivery of highquality outputs that meet client expectations and deadlines. Provide critical feedback on designs to ensure consistency accuracy and brand alignment.

  • Client Collaboration: Act as the main creative liaison with clients elishing strong partnerships and understanding their business aims. Present creative proposals and designs effectively incorporating client feedback and making necessary adjustments.

  • Streamline Processes: Manage and evolve the creative process ensuring efficient workflows and highquality output.

  • Pitch Support: Play a key role in pitching and client presentations effectively communicating design concepts and strategies.

  • Stay ahead of design trends and incorporate best practices in both digital and traditional media into project strategies.

  • Design Domains: Our work spans digital print BTL and Space design. You will be leading projects and guiding teams across these fields.


Requirements

Experience and Ss Required

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a design role with a proven track record of delivering innovative design solutions. (34 years in a leadership role)

  • Extensive experience working across both traditional and digital media.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand development digital design print media and creative strategy

  • Exceptional leadership and communication ss with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Proficiency in design software and technologies (such as Adobe CS InDesign Illustrator Photoshop After Effects Figma XD etc.).

  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a pion for storytelling through design.

  • Understanding of UI UX concepts and proven work across the same.

  • Experience in building and managing a team with a talent for nurturing creative potential.

  • A proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously upholding high standards of creativity and quality.

  • Ability to manage a remote team.

  • A design degree is good to have but not mandatory with relevant experience.

Experience and Ss Required: 1-3 years of proven sales experience in a marketing agency or related field Strong understanding of marketing services and ability to articulate their value to potential clients Consultative sales approach Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation ss Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience) Ability to go beyond traditional ways of outreach to implement new ideas and developments based on the industry (must have)
