Senior Business Analyst
Navi Mumbai, India
ORGANIZATION : As a member in the Information Technology (IT) department, you will be part of the core team that will be responsible for developing cutting-edge digital capabilities to enhance and elevate client’s IT platforms deployed across their ships. You will ensure that the IT solutions align with business goals and deliver tangible value to the organization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to drive product requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
· Analyze gathered requirements and document them in a clear and concise manner, often using techniques like use case diagrams, process flows, and user stories.
· Work closely with a team of IT professionals to deliver robust, sustainable, and flexible solutions.
· Lead change management initiatives to smoothly implement new capabilities across departments.
· Mentor other Business Analysts to foster their growth and development.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within existing systems or processes.
· Deliver high-quality user stories aligned with the product roadmap to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional needs.
· Applying critical thinking to discern stakeholders’ wishes from actual requirements.
· Assisting in shaping the wider product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager.
YOUR PROFILE:
· Bachelors degree in IT, finance, economics or related field.
· Over 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, with a specialization in developing scalable IT products.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
· Deep comprehension of data utilization for prioritization, evidenced by advanced Excel proficiency or expertise in database tools like SQL, ElasticSearch, or Google Analytics.
· Demonstrated capacity to influence senior stakeholders, including Directors and C-Level executives.
· Certification in process mapping methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
· Preferred background in the maritime/shipping/aviation/ industry is preferred
