Weare seeking a skilled and detailoriented Maintenance Engineer tojoin our team in Chennai. This role is essential to ensuring theoperational efficiency and safety of our facilities. The idealcandidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementingmaintenance strategies repairs and improvements across varioussystems andinfrastructure.


Requirements

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Conductroutine inspections and maintenance of systems and equipmentincluding HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanicalsystems.
  • Troubleshootand repair issues with building management systems andequipment.
  • Manageemergency maintenance as required ensuring minimal disruption tooperations.
  • Coordinatewith external contractors and service providers for specializedmaintenance andrepairs.
  • Implementpreventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend thelife span offacilities.
  • Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and buildingcodes.
  • Documentall maintenance procedures and repairs maintaining clear andcomprehensiverecords.
  • Assistin budget preparation for maintenance expenses and capitalprojects.
  • Providetechnical advice and support to the facility managementteam.
  • Stayupdated with the latest technologies and practices in facilitiesmanagement.

EssentialQualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Civilpreferred).
  • Provenexperience in a maintenance engineering role ideally in afacilities managementcontext.
  • Strongunderstanding of building systems (HVAC electricalplumbing).
  • Familiaritywith local building codes and safetyregulations.
