Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced mortgage underwriter to evaluate and determine the eligibility of loan applications. The mortgage underwriter's responsibilities include analyzing and verifying loan applications, evaluating risks, and making loan eligibility decisions. A successful mortgage underwriter should be able to exercise sound judgment based on detailed analysis and ensure that all documentation complies with the relevant regulations.

Must have sound experience in PCRMust have hands on experience in mortgage in Underwriting.Must have experience in US mortgage OnlyMust have worked Post closure in mortgagesWilling to work in US shifts and rotational offsAnalyzing and verifying loan applicationsHigh mathematical aptitude

Skill set Required:-

Experience in Post Close Review/Under Writing/Other areas of MortgagesUS Mortgage Experience in Either Post Close Review/Underwriting/Compliance/ Post offer Completion & Core ServicingIn depth knowledge of GSE, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac guidelines and requirementsShould have recent experience in Analyze Income & employment, credit strength, property appraisal, check over debt to Income (DTI) and Loan to value (LTV)and all other information pertinent to the credit decision process on each mortgage application, as presented by the applicantKnowledge to validate that a prospective mortgagors loan application adheres to the Investors , Secondary Investors (Fannie & Freddie) and guidelines of applicable government agencies to approve the loanGood communication skillsGood with Numerical abilities & Logical reasoningExposure to MS OfficeMulti Tasking
