Job Description


If you are a WordPress Developer with 1-3 years of experience looking to make an impact in a growing startup, we would love to hear from you


Responsibilities 


  • Develop and Maintain Websites : Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with design and content teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
  • Customize and Extend : Customize and extend existing themes and plugins, and develop new ones to meet specific project requirements.
  • Optimize Speed : Implement various speed optimization strategies to achieve the best possible PageSpeed Insight metrics.
  • SEO Implementation : Apply search engine optimization strategies to ensure a fully SEO-optimized website.
  • Troubleshoot Issues : Diagnose and resolve issues related to website functionality and responsiveness.
  • Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.


Skills


  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress development, including theme and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in executing custom strategies to optimize WordPress performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of modern SEO plugins and SEO principles.
  • Proficiency in popular page builders such as Elementor or WP Bakery Page Builder, with the ability to adapt to new ones.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Good to have skills:


  • Experience with building websites using platforms like Squarespace, Shopify, BentoBox, etc.
  • Familiarity with managing and optimizing e-commerce websites.
  • Basic knowledge of performance monitoring tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar.
