Technical + Delivery Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the development, project leadership, quality, and timely delivery of the project. Client based projects, client liaison, pre-sales, and cross-functional development will fall within the ambit of your responsibilities.


Responsibilities: 

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Delivery teams. Handle Operational issues related to the delivery centre
  • Become the single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between the service delivery and the customer
  • Drive and coordinate crisis management


Requirements:

  • Good technical experience in Java, Angular, DevOps and open source projects
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture
  • Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle
  • Delivery Management objectives in Onshore and Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe
  • Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control
  • Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to AWS, dev-ops and CI-CD will be an added advantage
