System Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive System Engineer to oversee the maintenance of our lab environment and ensure the smooth functioning of all hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, system support, and lab equipment management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage, and organize lab equipment and systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Perform routine hardware inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware components as required.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability of lab infrastructure.
- Maintain inventory of lab hardware, spare parts, and tools.
- Provide technical support for lab users, addressing system or hardware-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and IT security standards within the lab environment.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support project requirements and lab operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Proven experience in hardware maintenance, system support, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking basics.
- Ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues efficiently.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for lab management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a lab or testing environment.
- Knowledge of basic networking setup and troubleshooting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
