The Enhancor team has experience interfacing with some of the largest property managers in the world, providing services to multi-family operators, including those with more than $7 billion in real estate assets.

Summary:

The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for accounting functions related to residential and commercial real estate properties. They will work alongside with accounting and property management teams to complete the month end close, account reconciliations and budget analysis for the properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Review of monthly Income Statements and Variance Reports.

 Preparation and Review of Balance sheet accounts.

 Review of monthly Workpapers.

 Assist in preparation of audit supporting.

 Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.

 Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.

 Assist with Budget/Reforecast preparation. Input/Import of Budget Data into Yardi.

 Prepare annual TC201s and RPIEs as required.

 Gather lease information necessary to calculate Real Estate Tax escalations, CPI escalations and other escalations.

 Review tenant billings for accuracy. Ensure that charges are appropriate.

 Review and account for construction activity and capital improvements.

 Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

 Assist on various projects as required. Qualifications & Skills:

 A bachelor's degree in accounting or related specialization.

 CA/CMA Inter is an added advantage.

 Must have 5-8 years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in residential real estate accounting.  Affordable housing knowledge a plus.

 Commercial real estate experience with GAAP accounting is preferred.

 Exceptional attention to detail.

 Position requires both verbal and written interaction within all levels of company, in addition to contact with third parties.
