We are looking for ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS ( Substation Design Specialist ) to join our Transmission & Distribution Team.

Mandatory Software knowledge - PLS CADD/PLS-Pole, ETAP, Digsilent,Electrical eng. total experience in substation design (general arrangement, lighting, earthing, lightning, cable sizing, UPS/DC sizing, HV cables, equipment definition,…)Candidate should be from Design engineering background, working experience in basic and detail designing specially with “Power plants” , “oil and gas” / Industrial Sector.8-10 years of experience in Substation Engineering and more than 5 years of experience in Substation Electromechanical Engineering (Substation Primary Engineering) developing the next tasks:Sag and Tension, Short circuit effort calculation.Substation Lay-out and Sections, Clearances (IEC Standard)Circuit breaker, Disconnectors, Surge Arrester, CT/VT, Post-insulator, Connectors Specifications, Datasheet and Vendor doc review.Earthing, Lightning protection, Cableway design.Experience in Substations with voltage level equal to or higher than 400-kv Experience in Projects located overseas, not only Indian projects.Any experience in projects located in North America will have a additional advantage.How to work as part of a team and with technical rigor.How to work independently with an innovative spirit.An advanced level of English.above all... are eager to learn in a multinational firm such as IDOM.
