We are Looking For  Purchase Assistant Manager (Raw Material Procurement)  Industries Cosmatic - Chemical ( BEAUTY & COSMETICS, SOAP & DETERGENTS, PERSONAL CARE & HYGIENE ONLY) Designation: Assistant  Purchase Manager  Experience: Minimum 5+ years Salary: 7.50 - 10 LPA Gender: Male Preferred. Location: IMT, FARIDABAD (SEC-69) Industry to target: BEAUTY & COSMETICS, SOAP & DETERGENTS, PERSONAL CARE & HYGIENE ONLY. We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Raw Material Procurement and Chemical Specialist with experience in organic/inorganics chemicals, surfactants, emulsifiers, acid’s, perfumes, colours etc. for our Home Care Products manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchase and procurement of raw materials, including chemicals and solvents, ensuring quality control, and supporting production processes through effective supply chain management. Ideal Candidate: Those who have rich experience in procurement of chemicals/raw material, packing material & various other input products. Job Description- • Responsible for Managing & overseeing complete Day to Day purchases. • Handling New Vendor Development, NPI, managing existing vendors, Sourcing & evaluation. • Handle complete Purchase Department with Price Control on the complete input materials including Assets & Utilities etc. • Plan effective cost control methods to check the input costs as well as inflations. • Negotiate technical as well as commercial terms with New as well as existing vendors as per company’s norms & keeping in mind the overall budget allocated. • Monitor & Plan quarterly, monthly & weekly purchase plans. • Should have handled purchase volume of over 5 crores monthly. • Should be able to manage stock reconciliation at plants. • Should have worked on SAP or similar ERP and familiar with basic ERP reports JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To plan, organize, delegate and monitoring daily activities of the Purchase Department Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices Controlling purchase dept budget. Identify, Source & Selection of new suppliers. Procurement of Raw Material like Chemicals (Rosin, Castrox, HCL, Pine oil, LCO, Caustic flakes, Acid Thickner etc.) Procurement of Packing items like (Corrugation Box, HDPE Jar, Caps, Glass Bottles, Labels, etc.) Procurement of Engineering items, spares, consumables, electrical items, capex items etc.) Drive cost savings initiatives for assigned categories; establish and meet cost reduction and performance goals Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand Periodic reviews & reporting to the management through MIS as per Schedule. Take a proactive approach to assessing current costs versus market conditions. Proactively initiate negotiations to reduce costs or secure rebates on existing items Forecast price and market trend. Inventory management: Daily/Weekly Monitoring of Raw material Inventory in multiple manufacturing units. Weekly monitoring of Scheduling of material Deliveries to manufacturing units and tracking the schedule adherence by suppliers. Ensuring optimal inventory levels across all locations and spot bottle necks that can lead to critical inventory levels to alert the concerned managers. Coordinating with different departments like supply chain, plant head, QC, receiving teamsetc. to monitor the quality & quality of products delivered. Control inventory as per the SOP & manage the same according to the targeted level. Reporting: • Periodic Inventory status reports • Re-order Level reports • Data maintenance of all the vendor records. • Budgeting reports & Monthly reviews
