Role Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will combine your expertise in climate change management, sustainable landscapes and program management to support the Senior Vice President and lead critical projects. Your responsibilities will include managing high-level tasks, drafting strategic proposals, and driving initiatives that align with our ecological mission. Your ability to efficiently juggle multiple assignments, network, negotiate, and influence will be essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary support to our Senior Vice Presidentn leading sustainable landscape initiatives, facilitating all aspects of climate initiative programs.
  • Manage complex stakeholder engagements, coordinate executive meetings, and ensure streamlined communications within the executive team and with key stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, and enhance proposals and documents with a focus on clarity, impact, and precision.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on climate and landscape sustainability-related topics to inform and advance strategic initiatives.
  • Handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and meet organizational goals.
  • Leverage your strong negotiation skills to influence outcomes and drive successful implementation of initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management or programmatic role
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for climate change issues and sustainable ecological practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of preparing impactful proposals and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced networking, negotiation, and influencing skills.


Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in use of AI tools, project management software, and other relevant technology tools.
  • Strong management quotient, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Deep interest to contribute to landscape conservation, wildlife corridor conservation and climate action in India


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification in climate policy, environmental management, or a similar area is highly preferred.
