Our engineering teams follow modern microservices architecture, CI/CD practices, and industry best practices to deliver robust, high-performance, and secure solutions globally.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with MERN stack expertise and strong DSA skills to design, develop, and maintain multi-tenant microservices platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance. This is a full-time ,on-site role for a Senior Backend Engineer at Transond Systems, located in Coimbatore.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for multi-tenant platforms.Build microservices applying cloud-native architecture principles and industry best practices.Implement RESTful APIs, Graph QL endpoints, and integrations with external systems.Collaborate with frontend, data, and Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless system integration.Apply security, multi-tenant data isolation, and performance optimization practices.Optimize backend performance with Redis or other caching frameworks, database queries, and efficient data handling.Architect transactional vs analytical data segregation to support multi-tenant workloads.Apply advanced DSA expertise for algorithmically efficient solutions, data structures, and system-level optimizations.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.Required Skills & Experience5–8 years of backend development experience, preferably in MERN stack (Mongo DB, Express, React, Node.js).Strong familiarity with microservices architecture principles and ability to put them into practice.High expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) for scalable and high-performance systems.Experience with Redis or other caching frameworks for performance optimization.Proven ability to segregate transactional and analytical data in multi-tenant environments.Hands-on experience with API design, messaging queues, event-driven systems (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, MQTT).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices.Expertise in database design, optimization, and scaling (Mongo DB, Postgre SQL, or similar).Experience with security best practices: authentication, authorization, and data isolation.Nice to HaveExposure to real-time Io T or telemetry systems.Experience with Graph QL, Redis advanced patterns, or caching frameworks.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.Knowledge of event sourcing and CQRS patterns.
