As a Casting Modeling & Detailing Engineer, you will focus on creating precise 3D models and 2D drawings for heavy equipment and machinery. Your expertise in casting modeling and foundry practices will support our design and manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production and high-quality outcomes. You’ll work closely with customers to interpret requirements and develop effective design concepts.
What You’ll Do:Develop detailed casting models and drawings for heavy equipment and machinery using Creo.Interpret manufacturing needs and translate them into accurate casting models.Collaborate with customers to create design concepts that meet specific requirements.Apply casting, pattern, and foundry knowledge to design robust and manufacturable products.Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) techniques to ensure precision in drawings.Manage project timelines and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:Extensive experience in casting modeling and detailing, particularly for heavy equipment and machinery.Strong proficiency in
Creo
for creating accurate 3D models and 2D drawings.In-depth knowledge of casting processes, patterns, and foundry practices.Skilled in GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy in designs.Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.Experience with
Teamcenter Engineering
(preferred but not required).Educational background in Engineering (BE or Diploma).
