OHS/SHE Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing - South Eastern Suburbs Seeking OHS / SHE Manager Location: South Eastern Suburbs Industry: Pharmaceutical Experience level: 10 - 15 + years Remuneration: Market rate Seeking an individual with 10 -15 + years of exp in a manufacturing safety role, pharma experience a plus, AIHS & STEM qualification is advantageous Safe, Stable and Secure Australian owned Pharmaceutical Manufacturer with free onsite parking Seeking an individual, ideally, with 10 - 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing safety role, experience in the pharmaceutical (GMP environment) industry will be looked upon favourably The role: You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to Personnel, Managers and Stakeholders on all OH&S related initiatives and issues. With a key focus on providing a work environment that is safe and healthy for all employees, as well as educating and guiding the workforce, communicating and coaching at all levels, any risks, protocols and helping achieve compliance as well as managing a small team of coordinators. Duties and Responsibilities: • Investigations, Policy Development and Implementation • Risk assessment, identification and mitigation • Training, advice and safety protocol education • Compliance to laws, regulations, industrial health and safety guidelines • Program implementation for accident prevention • Provide a working environment that is safe and healthy for all employees • RTW, WorkCover and injury management Requirements: • A Degree in STEM, Business, OH&S or related OH&S discipline is essential • At least 10 - 15 years of experience in a manufacturing safety role preferred • Excellent knowledge in state-based WHS and RTW Legislation • Membership of the AIHS as a signatory to its code of ethics, will be highly regarded and desirable • Certification as an OHS practitioner/professional will be highly regarded If this sounds like your next career move for 2021, hit the apply button now IMPORTANT: It is a requirement of all our jobs that you have a PR or AU/NZ Citizenship.
