About the Role :


We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure.


You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and design, develop, and implement data solutions that empower effective analysis and reporting.


Job Overview :

  • Lead the migration, design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data requirements.
  • Translate data needs into technical solutions, designing and implementing data pipelines for efficient data movement.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses (DWH) to ensure structured and accessible storage of data for analysis.
  • Leverage your expertise in SQL, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Document data pipelines and processes for clear communication and future maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and manipulate data.
  • In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling).
  • Proven experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or similar data integration tools.
  • Experience with data migration methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
  • A passion for data and a strong desire to contribute to data-driven decision making.
